Actress, singer, pop star...Add them all together and you get Hilary Duff! This rising star hit it big with Lizzie McGuire and became known to tweens (and teens) everywhere when she came out with her first album, Metamorphosis. I think Hilary deserves to be looked up to because she is an A-list celebrity with movies, songs, clothing, and accessories, but she isn't cocky about it. She worked extremely hard to rise to success.

Hilary Duff turned from an actress to a singer, but personally, I think she's better at acting than at singing. Watch those high notes, Hil! She also has a clothing, make-up, and accesories line called Stuff by Duff, which you can find at Target. This line is more of a younger girls' style, but it is very successful. It is also appropriate to wear to school because it doesn't show a lot of skin.

If you read last week's Celeb Critic, you would know that Hilary Duff has lost weight. This influences girls to lose weight as well thinking they are fat and need to be "perfect". ALL celebrities should stop losing weight! They don't realize they play a huge role on girls' self-esteem.

Over all, I think Hilary is a very nice girl and not boastful at all like other celebs. In addition, she is at the peak of her success and is a role model for all the young females out there. The only thing she shouldn't be looked up to for is her weight loss. I mean she looks great but she looked fine before. Keep up the good work, Hilary.
